Community Service
Middle Years Program students and International Baccalaureate students take an active
role to contribute to their local community by donating their time and knowledge.
Think global, act “local” is a way of life for MYP and IB students.
The Middle Years Program requires each student to volunteer a predetermined number
of community service hours:
Freshmen IBMYP-20 hrs/semester Sophomores IBMYP-25 hrs/semester Print the
Community Service Form or submit your hours online.
When a student reaches the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program they are
required to perform a predetermined number of Creative Action Service hours (CAS
Hours):
Juniors IBDP-75 hrs/year Seniors IBDP-75 hrs/year Print a
Creative Action Service Report Form.
Note: CAS hours will soon be managed online using the program Managebac, a program
created by former IB graduates intended to help IB schools go paperless. For more
