According to No Child Left Behind, each school must make Adequate Yearly Progress. Valley HS was placed on the Needs Improvement List in 2007. In 2008, Valley was designated at Needs Improvement-Year 4. In 2009, Valley High School was designated as a High Achieving-Exemplary Turnaround school! Congratulations to our students and staff!
ParentLink Provides Parental Access to Student Progress

To help you more effectively monitor the progress of your child, the Clark County School District provides a computer based system called ParentLink by which you can track your student's grades and attendance. Simply enter the login ID and password that have been provided to you from your child's school to review you student's information. If you do not have a login ID and password, please contact your child's school. Thank you for your commitment to your child's education.
Educational Involvement Accord/Code of Honor

Senate Bill 214, Section 17 of the 2005 Nevada Legislative session directs the Nevada Department of Education to provide a form for educational involvement accords to be used by all public schools in Nevada. This Accord complies with the state’s adoptedParent Involvement Policy as well as with the federal No Child LeftBehind (NCLB) Act of 2001. In addition, the Educational Involvement Accord is accompanied by a variety of informational materials (including the Code of Honor which every district and its teachersdistribute to each student’s parent(s).
